Hi there! I’m Margo, photographer, storyteller, mom, and the being behind the camera at Good Chance Media.

I wanted to kick off this blog by saying hey, and letting you in on a little backstory… including where the name came from (because yes, there’s a story behind it and yes, it involves a tiny, adorable French kid).

A few years ago, my daughter (who’s bilingual and very full of life) was about seven years old and playing American Ninja Warrior at our local park. She asked me to film her while she gave a full play-by-play of the “warriors” in action. At the very end, with total confidence, she looks at the camera and said: “GOOD CHANCE!” Not “good luck.” Not “you got this.”

Just... “Good Chance.”And honestly? It was perfect. It stuck with me.

So when it came time to name my business, I knew it had to be Good Chance Media. Because that’s what I want this business to be — a nudge of encouragement. A reminder to show up, take the leap, and try the thing. Whether that’s stepping in front of the camera, launching your dream business or just making space to celebrate yourself, I’m here for it.

I specialize in candid, natural-light photography that feels easy and real. Whether it's you, your crew, your brand, or your brilliant mess of a life, I’ll meet you where you are and make some magic from there.
